Newsletter signup
When you subscribe, we collect your email address and store it with our email provider, Resend, to send the weekly digest. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed. We don't sell or rent subscriber lists.
Sponsor payments
Sponsorship checkout is handled by Stripe. Card details are entered into Stripe's form and go directly to Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers. Stripe shares with us what we need to run your sponsorship, such as your name, email, billing details, the plan purchased and payment status.
Tool submissions
When you submit a tool, the details you enter (tool name, website, category, description and your email) are emailed to our team through Resend so we can review them. Your email is used only to follow up about the submission and is not published. Submitting doesn't guarantee a listing.
Hosting and third-party resources
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and tool icons from Google's favicon service, so those requests reach Google. The checkout page loads Stripe.js from Stripe.
Cookies and tracking
We don't set our own advertising or analytics cookies. Third-party services we use, such as Stripe on the checkout page, may set cookies needed for security and fraud prevention under their own policies.
Retention and your choices
We keep subscriber emails until you unsubscribe, submission emails for as long as they're useful for reviewing listings, and payment records as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing newsletter@aecaiindex.com.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
